One of Precision's most important assets are its die shops. We have die making capabilities for both steel rule dies and foil stamping or single level embossing dies. We have recently introduced CAD capabilities for our steel rule dies for very close tolerances and repeatability, and of course our own photoengraving equipment for foiling and embossing dies. We have been serving the printing industry with these services for over 22 years. Our ability to produce many dies on demand, can certainly come in handy when the industry pressures are getting the best of your schedule.
Helpful die making hints:
Foil stamping dies usually require a film negative, and an embossing dies a film positive. If unsure, please call.
When specifying a steel rule die, any type of film layout will usually do. Additionally, a press sheet often comes in handy to allow us to take exact dimensions so that we might hit color breaks and other critical areas.
