Precision maintains three film laminators (two high speed, and one hand fed) to accommodate both one sided and two sided work. Available films include polyester, polypropylene, and lay-flat nylon.
One sided specs: Sheet size capacity of 8 1/2" x 11" (minimum) to 31" x 40" (max.) with ability to run sheet thicknesses from 80# C2S text up to 18 pt. board. Standard film thickness is 1.7 mil available in standard gloss, and matte finishes.
Two sided specs: Sheet size capacity of 8 1/2" x 11" (minimum) to 26" x 40" (max.) with ability to run most any thickness of stock up to 24 pt. Two sided jobs smaller than 8 1/2" x 11" can also be run on a hand fed basis... please call. Film thicknesses of 1.7, 3, 5, and 10 mils are available (with all thicknesses available in gloss, and 1.7 and 3 mils available in matte finish). Also, the finished edge of the piece can be "edge sealed" (meaning addition plastic lam is left beyond all edges of the finished piece forming a seal) or flush trimmed on a paper cutter re-exposing the raw edge of the original sheet.
Helpful Laminating Hints:
Re One sided jobs: It is imperative that all inks and coatings be kept 5/8" or more away from any edge of the sheet.
