Precision's new Horizon BQ-270 perfect binder is our latest addition to our bindery. We can perfect bind a variety of book thicknesses. Even the shortest of runs can be done efficiently on this machine due to its automated setup features Superior binding strength and strong, square binds are made easy with heavy duty roughing and milling processes. This binder provides the same high strength, reliable bind as found on virtually any large commercial equipment. Digitally printed sheets can be bound very succesfully.
Helpful hints for perfect binging:
A minimum of 1/8" glue catch needed at head and foot of cover stock
Minimum book thickness- .04" (some binds possible with as few as 2 sheets)
Maximum book thickness- 2"
Minimum book size- 5.4" x 4.2" (spine x width)
Maximum book size- 12.6" x 12.6" (spine x width)
Most cover stocks 12pt. and under perform quite well (please call with your choice to confirm)
Front and back cover side scoring provided at 1/4" from spine
